Abstract
Offshore marine renewable energy projects require an agile assessment of foundation scour and mitigation measures. The interaction of hydraulics and geotechnics are key. Scour can be mitigated in design or through monitoring and intervention as part of a scour management plan. Securing the high voltage subsea cables are also key to the success of a design.
