Abstract
The ongoing COVID -19 pandemic has highlighted the need for sufficient data to help understand transmission of infectious respiratory disease within universities. We have revived a previously unpublished survey of “coughs, colds and freshers’ flu” in the University of Cambridge in 2007-2008, with self-reported information on symptom onset as well as demographic, academic, domestic and social factors. Despite being a pilot study from years ago, it still remains one of the most detailed and recent datasets within a UK university of its kind. I will be presenting the soon-to-be publicly available dataset, with some exploratory analysis.
