Abstract
3He Spin Echo provides a novel tool for measuring the dynamics of molecules on surfaces on picosecond timescales and over atomic length scales. In this talk, the dynamics of carbon monoxide on Cu(111) are described, based on recent measurements. The results are compared with previous, surprising, results for the motion of CO on a Pt(111) surface.
Series This talk is part of the Physics and Chemistry of Solids Group series.
