Abstract
How can you build reliable software that talks to external systems? How can you be confident that the state of your database reflects the state of the world? This talk will explore how BigPay has used concepts from domain driven design and event sourcing to build a more robust and fault tolerant system. We dive into the problems we set out to solve, the solutions we came up with and the trade offs that come with building a system based on events.
