Abstract

Annie and Jenna will be talking on – Challenges, opportunities and learnings from a feasibility study of school streets and no car zones around schools in Cambridgeshire.

Annie Hindley is a Scientific Officer working for Cambridge City Council, specialising in Air Quality. Her focus is on projects to improve our understanding of pollutant concentrations and their sources in Cambridge and also to champion improvements in air quality in the City through various projects, working with a range of partners.

Jenna Panter is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and is a public health researcher working at the intersection between health and transport. Her work focusses on evaluating the behavioural and health impacts of environmental and policy interventions, such as new public transport infrastructure, cycle hire schemes, congestion charging, new walking and cycling infrastructure and behavioural interventions such as cycle promotion and cycle training.
