Abstract
I investigate the effects of elasticity on drop generation in inkjet printing, via simulations using an axisymmetric Lagrangian-Eulerian finite element method. In addition, I present results on the drift of a sedimenting sphere in viscoelastic pipe flow, using a fully 3D extension of the method.
