Abstract
Maria and Amy will be talking on – School Streets: Acting on air quality and creating community space
Amy Barnes is a Lecturer in Public Health at University of Sheffield with specific interests in politics (power), participation, and health equity; and in government and civil society action to address wider determinants of health. Maria Val Martin is an atmospheric scientist and UKRI Future Leader at University of Sheffield with research interests in air pollution, interactions between the atmosphere, biosphere and climate and climate change mitigation. Amy and Maria were involved in the design and evaluation of the first School Streets trialed in Sheffield
