Dr Andrew Fraser of Arup, will give a presentation on the Frank Stella Sculpture Project. The sculpture shown, which is fabricated out of carbon and glass fibre on a foam core, fits within a volume of ~16m x 13m x 7m high. The talk will look at the challenges involved in translating the sculptors vision into reality and the challenges of analysis and design in a composite material.
