Abstract
The seminar will take place in the Potter Room and via Zoom here.
Abstract: Precision phenomenology is a cornerstone of the LHC research program. The computation of predictions including the highest available theoretical precision require dedicated efforts and pose a non trivial problem in practice. In this interactive presentation I will introduce you to the “High-energy Theory Event Analysis” (HighTEA) project. The HighTEA project is a new tool to make precision predictions for collider experiments sustainable, available and accessible for everyone, in a user-friendly way. In this talk I will explain the conceptual ideas behind, give a tour through the public available resources, and develop with you interactively some examples to demonstrate the functions and capabilities of HighTEA.
Series This talk is part of the HEP phenomenology joint Cavendish-DAMTP seminar series.
