Abstract
The seminar will include four talks from junior career researchers including;
Catherine Kamal – Controlling the orientation of a settling filament via viscosity gradients
Emily Kruger – The effect of passengers on the air flow in a mechanically ventilated train carriage
Francesco Paolo Conto – Surface-washing of contaminated porous substrates
Jane Chui – Rheology of bacterial superfluids in viscous environments
