Abstract
Brean Hammond, ‘Theobald’s Falshood’: The paper considers some of the reasons why, on balance of probabilities, I consider that behind Lewis Theobald’s Double Falshood (1727), there are texts of earlier provenance – most significantly, a late collaboration by Shakespeare and Fletcher probably called The History of Cardenio.
With a response from Dr. Neil Pattison, ‘Theobald’s Falshood [sic]’.
