Abstract
In recent years, AI has achieved superhuman performance in many domains once thought to be challenging. In the future, many tasks currently done by humans may be done by AI systems instead. How can we ensure that these systems do not produce negative consequences and externalities? This talk will provide an overview of various open problems in the field of AI Alignment, and discuss proposed solutions and their shortcomings.
