Special Lecture, Cambridge Vet School; Norovirus: epidemiology, evolution and identification of variants

Noroviruses are the cause of a highly contagious gastroenteritis in humans. There have been several outbreaks in the Cambridge area in past months forcing closures of hospital wards at Addenbrooke’s and notable disruptions in Colleges around the University. As part of our ongoing research to understand more about this family of viruses and how they persist in the environment and their hosts, we have invited Dr Miren Iturriza (HPA Colindale) to give us a lecture on Wednesday March 11th at 9:30am, Lecture theatre 1. This lecture is open to the entire University community.
