Small obstacle limit for the inviscid Euler-alpha system

Abstract
We consider a family of solutions of the 2D Euler-alpha equations with no-slip boundary conditions, in the region {Îĩ < |x|}. We prove that this family converges to a solution of a modified Euler system in the full plane when Îĩ approaches zero.
