Stacks and equivariant cohomology
- 👤 Speaker: Adeel Khan (Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan)

- 📍 Venue: Seminar Room 1, Newton Institute
Abstract
I will discuss a Borel-type extension of the stable motivic homotopy category to algebraic stacks, and some applications to (generalized) equivariant cohomology theories. For example, I will explain some joint work with D. Aranha, A. Latyntsev, H. Park, and C. Ravi on how this setup can be used to generalize and refine equivariant localization theorems (in the style of Borel, Atiyah-Segal, Atiyah-Bott, etc.).
