Abstract
The control of dengue and other viruses transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes depends predominantly on interventions that target mosquitoes. Incorporation of these interventions into mathematical models often requires special consideration of the biology of these mosquitoes and their role in virus transmission. In this talk, I will present results from work that describes current understanding of the potential of three distinct interventions against viruses transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes.
