Abstract
With generic drug makers eating on margins and development costs of new drugs rising, the pharmaceutical industry faces one of the toughest times in its history. Dr Martin Mackay, President of Pfizer Global Research and Development has got the fascinating job of managing the industry’s biggest R&D program and is committed to respond to the challenge.
He has kindly agreed to come to Cambridge on May 8th 2009 to give a talk in the Department of Chemistry. The event will start with a short keynote speech in which Dr Mackay will give an overview of Pfizer and highlight the key projects in the company’s portfolio. The remaining time will be open for questions and answers.
