Abstract
Dr Mark Welch, an Earth scientist from the Natural History Museum and a dipterist, will talk about mosquitoes in the Fens and how their prevalence has changed in the past and how this may be affected by climate change. He has been studying mosquitoes in the Cambridgeshire fens around Ely for the past three years in collaboration with Public Health England.
