An illustrated talk by local historian Tony Kirby, exploring the impact of the University and its constituent colleges as both land owners and builders on the Cambridge townscape from 1800 to the present day.
Is the Cambridge Collegiate system a bit of a mystery? How did the University and the town exist alongside each other 800 years ago? Come and find out about the University and the town in the past and present at one of our talks.
