Abstract

The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel. In the labyrinths of the Chow-Novikov t-structure, Bachmann-Kong-Wang-Xu deciphered the enigmatic thread linking motivic homotopy theory and the chromatic tableau, utilizing the motifs of smooth, proper varieties as their cypher. We journey further into the cyberscape to find out that the stable motivic category can be in fact programmed in terms of the subcategory of these very motifs. We watch the matrix shatter and reform, revealing that the weight filtration on rational cohomology of algebraic varieties, first coded by Deligne using Hodge theory blueprints, can be etched onto the cohomology with respect to any complex-orientable ring spectrum.
