Abstract
I will provide an update on recent research in Galactic seismology, mostly from data provided by the Gaia satellite. The disc is highly responsive to past and recent dynamical events, and we can learn from these well-behaved disturbances. If time allows, I will briefly mention new experiments that will be possible in the years to come.
