Title: “Machine Learning for Quantum Computing” Abstract: Quantum computing promises substantial acceleration of certain computational tasks. However, building quantum computers is difficult, not least because of the fragility of quantum information subject to noise. Classical machine learning can help to design better quantum computing protocols. In this talk, I will sketch our insights into how reinforcement learning can discover better strategies, e.g. for quantum error correction.
