Abstract
In this talk I will describe how the particle content of a particle physics model can affect the energy scale at which quantum gravitational effects become important. I will then discuss how this effect can impact the grand unification of the electroweak and strong interactions.
Series This talk is part of the Theoretical Physics Colloquium series.
