This talk proposes an Internet architecture, which separates inter-domain routing from forwarding. Internet protocol (and hence BGP ) is used for routing initial connection signaling packets and the actual data traffic will be forwarded using zFilters, a method based on in-packet bloom filters.

Mikko Särelä is received his M.Sc. in computer science and engineering from Helsinki University of Technology in 2004 and is currently working for his PhD in the area of future internetworking architecture. His interests include security economics, and architectural problems in inter-domain designs.
