Abstract
For the first seminar of the year, we welcome new members of the Natural Language & Information Processing group.
Speaker Biographies
Suchir Salhan is a first-year PhD student supervised by Professor Paula Buttery, researching efficient and scalable machine learning techniques for small language models.
Paul Siewart is a first-year PhD student supervised by Dr Fermin Moscoso del Prado Martin, researching the model-theoretic foundations of linguistics.
Matthieu Moullec is a first-year PhD student supervised by Professor Andreas Vlachos, working on Automated fact-checking.
Additionally, the group would like to formally welcome Post-Doctoral Researchers who joined the group within the last year: Diana Galvan Sosa (ALTA ), Yulong Chen (Vlachos), Zifeng Ding (Vlachos), and Rui Cao (Vlachos).
