CGHR Practitioner Series: Meet Tigs Louis-Puttick

The CGHR Practitioner Series allows students to hear from and ask questions of seasoned practitioners working in international politics, journalism, development and humanitarianism.

Come join us for an exciting event at the Alison Richards Building, Room S1 where we will be hosting Tigs Louis-Puttick for our CGHR Practitioner Series. She is a long-time migrant rights advocate and founder of Reclaim the Sea, a non-profit that provides tools to enable people to reclaim the sea as a safe space when it has previously been one of trauma. She spent two years working as a search and rescue emergency responder on refugee rescue boats in the central Mediterranean and currently works as the Policy Coordinator for charity “Bail for Immigration Detainees” .
