Abstract
Realizing chiral fermions on the lattice remains a major open problem in quantum field theory, constrained by the Nielsen-Ninomiya no-go theorem and related challenges. In this talk, I will present recent progress in this direction, beginning with a new proposal known as the β3450 modelβ, as well as related insights from topological phases of matter. The main aim is to present ongoing work in collaboration with D. Tong and to invite feedback on possible paths toward a nonperturbative treatment of chiral gauge theories.
