RCLW01 - Uncertainty in multivariate, non-Euclidean, and functional spaces: theory and practice

Vector fields help describe a wide range of phenomena, from wind velocities to foreign exchange rates. In this talk, I will explore vector fields on manifolds and their discrete counterparts — edge flows on graphs. I will present a practical framework for Gaussian vector fields on these domains and discuss its various aspects, including empirical performance. I will finish by discussing open problems and some context of the overviewed research.
