Abstract
The Annual Gender Symposia bring together leading academics from around the world in order to discuss contemporary questions relevant to the field of gender analysis. The symposia are usually held in the Lent term and form part of the Gender Studies Public Event Series, which is supported by the Cambridge University Press. This year’s Symposium is entitled Gender and Scales of Empowerment and will take place on Friday 12 March 2010 in The Yusuf Hamied Theatre, Christ’s College, Cambridge.
