Abstract
Stuart Franklin has covered more than 20 assignments for the magazine on subjects such as Inca conqueror Francisco Pizzaro, Shanghai, and the hydro-struggle in Quebec.
He has travelled extensively with Greenpeace in Antarctica and has earned several photographic awards such as the World Press photo award.
He is a talented Geographer himself, receiving his PhD in Geography from Oxford in 2002.
This event is free to all CUGS member, and ÂŖ2 for non-members.
