Abstract
Professor Thrift is the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Warwick. He is a leading academic in human geography and the social sciences more generally, authoring or co-authoring over 35 books. His current research looks at fields as diverse as international finance, cities and political life, non-representational theory (a concept he originated), affective politics, and the history of time.
