Abstract
The practice of school self-evaluation varies among schools and countries, and no matter what our stage of development we can always learn more through considering similarities and differ-ences with others. Croatia has just started implementing self-evaluation in schools. Using Croatia as a case study this seminar will explore dilemmas and possibilities of sustainable self-evaluation and try to develop principles for best practice.

Small group discussions will deal with particular problems of sustaining self-evaluation and will seek solutions to improving the practice of school self-evaluation.
