Abstract
Join us for a special fireside chat with Sir Partha Dasgupta, one of the world’s leading economists and author of The Economics of Biodiversity: The Dasgupta Review.
Sir Partha has recently released his new book, “On Natural Capital: The Value of the World Around Us”, which explores how we can rethink the relationship between economic systems and the natural world.
Moderated by Professor Bhaskar Vira, Professor of Political Economy, Department of Geography, University of Cambridge, this conversation will explore the big question: ‘The price for everything, the value of nothing.’
Together, they will discuss how economic thinking intersects with biodiversity conservation, ethics, and the challenge of redefining value in a changing world.
