Patient and public involvement is something that more and more research funders are demanding but it’s often difficult to know how to get started or how it applies to your particular project.

We’ll cover the basics of what patient and public involvement (PPI) is, how it exists along a spectrum and across the research cycle, and how it differs from public engagement and qualitative research. We will also explore conceptual and practical challenges to doing PPI . Finally, Naomi will share top tips and resources that exist to support high-quality PPI .
