Abstract
I am interested in the genetic makeup of pathogen populations and study the spatial patterns of genetic diversity and the underlying dynamics that produced them. I am particularly focusing on the role of human population structure in the distribution and virulence of infectious diseases and the interplay between host and pathogen genomic variation
