Abstract
Our regular, twice a year outing to hear about some research currently being carried out in the University of Cambridge and which one day has the potential to ‘change the world’. This Spring we will about ‘well-being’, low power electronics and genetic sequencing. Speakers will be from the University, as follows:
Professor Felicia Huppert (Director of the Well-being Institute) on ‘The Science of Well-being; Defining, Measuring and Promoting Flourishing in the Population’
About the Well-Being Institute: ‘Well-being refers to positive and sustainable characteristics which enable individuals and organisations to thrive and flourish. About the Electronics, Power and Energy Conversion Group:’Electronics, Power and Energy Conversion group has as its core research activity power electronic devices and integrated circuits, and their uses in various applications.
