Abstract
It is often said that patients themselves are the biggest untapped group of care-givers. By supporting patients in their desire to take more responsibility for their own health management, there is an opportunity to improve both patient engagement and cost effectiveness. The 3 speakers will explore needs and possible solutions from the viewpoint of the clinician, a medical device company and a software company:
Dr Steven Laitner (NHS East of England) Darren Umbers (Philips Respironics) Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli (Patients Know Best)
