A delegation from Sudan’s Emergency Response Rooms (ERRs) will be in Cambridge for a special event at King’s College Chapel on Wednesday 26th November 2025.

The delegation will be in conversation with Professor Sharath Srinivasan, Fellow of King’s College, Cambridge, co-director of the Centre of Governance and Human Rights, and author of the book, 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 π˜—π˜¦π˜’π˜€π˜¦ π˜’π˜ͺ𝘭𝘭𝘴 π˜—π˜°π˜π˜ͺ𝘡π˜ͺ𝘀𝘴: 𝘐𝘯𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘒𝘡π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯𝘒𝘭 𝘐𝘯𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘡π˜ͺ𝘰𝘯 𝘒𝘯π˜₯ 𝘜𝘯𝘦𝘯π˜₯π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘒𝘳𝘴 π˜ͺ𝘯 𝘡𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘢π˜₯𝘒𝘯𝘴.

Sudan’s Emergency Response Rooms (ERRs) are a grassroots network of volunteers providing life-saving aid in the world’s worst humanitarian catastrophe – stepping in amidst a brutal war, an absent state and a wholly inadequate international response. Arising out of the neighbourhood resistance committees during Sudan’s non-violent revolution in 2018-19, the ERRs have become a powerful force for community-led mutual aid, delivering everything from food and medicine to safe evacuations and creating safe spaces for women. Facing immense risks but driven by a commitment to solidarity with their compatriots, and supported especially through donations from the Sudanese diaspora, the ERRs have assisted millions and gained international recognition, including Nobel Peace Prize nominations.

All welcome. Registration is compulsory.
