Abstract
Let A be an n by n matrix with iid entries which are distributed as Bernoulli random variables with parameter p = d/n, d constant. In this talk I will discuss the recent proof that the spectral law of such matrices converges, in distribution, to a deterministic measure, as n tends to infinity. This is based on joint work with Ashwin Sah and Mehtaab Sawhney.
