WordFest Special Event a special screening as part of Cambridge WordFest. Twice a year, WordFest welcomes the best new and established writers to Cambridge for a range of unique events.

THE MORTAL STORM (PG)

Adapted from the novel by Phyllis Bottome, this anti-Nazi film from MGM was premiered in isolationist America just as German troops entered Paris. THE MORTAL STORM is a powerful depiction of a German family torn apart by Hitler’s strictures against the Jews following his appointment as Chancellor.

Our screening will be introduced by Dr Pam Hirsch and followed by a Q&A with Dr Hirsch and Dr Colin Shindler.
