Abstract
In this talk, Jack Ashby will talk about some hidden stories behind the world’s iconic natural history museums, from enormous mounted whale skeletons to cabinets of impossibly tiny insects. He will illustrate the three main themes of his recent book: how well do natural history museums really represent nature, how did they really come together, and how can they help save the world?
