Abstract
What do drama and science have to say to each other? How can mathematics be used in theatre to convey new ideas, and how can performance change the way we think about science?
Discussing these questions will be a panel led by Peter Shaffer Playwright-in-Residence Imogen Usherwood, with Trinity maths undergraduate Henry Jaspars and Professor Marcus du Sautoy: mathematician, Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford, and long-time collaborator with Olivier Award-winning theatre company, Complicite.
