Abstract
The Inclusive Design Toolkit has been very successful in both web and book form. However one of the key challenges is to turn interest into action. Recent work has focussed on developing a ‘getting started’ process the helps people start to design inclusively. This is based around three key questions which are: (1) what is the need? (2) How can the need be met? (3) How well is the need being met?. These questions are addressed in three areas of activity, ‘explore’, ‘create’ and ‘evaluate’. This seminar will explain this process and seek feedback during the seminar as part of the on-going development process.
Series This talk is part of the Engineering Design Centre series.
