Abstract
Peter Cowley, an alumni of the Computer Laboratory, is involved as an owner and investor in several local technology businesses. One of these, Camdata, is introducing the MeLock (www.melock.com), a simple idea to lock a PC as the user moves away from their desk. The initial application is an advice centre, where the general public are commonly left alone when the interviewer leaves the room. Potential markets include advice, financial services, healthcare, local government.
