Abstract
Description: Some thoughts from a long serving Johnian on doing research in Cambridge, the process, pitfalls and potential for making that big discovery!
About me: I studied Land Economy as an undergraduate at Cambridge and spent some time working in finance before returning in 2007 to begin a PhD in Behavioural Economics also in the Department of Land Economy. As a graduate student I have done lots of teaching, studied for an A level, ‘failed’ my first year report, changed supervisor (twice) and am now entering my 10th term broadly on schedule - hoping to finish in the coming months – so I have plenty of experience to share!
