Abstract
Ely is a pretty market town founded as a monastery in AD673 and home to one of the finest medieval cathedrals in England which continues to be a living place of worship.
We will visit (for free!) the Cathedral, including a tour giving some history and how the Cathedral continues to play a part in faith and worship today, and then attend Evensong.
We’ll have lunch in Cambridge before catching the train, contact the organiser for time and place.
