Abstract
Women have been used as actresses to build, reenact, and question the memories of the conflict in the former Yugoslavia, particularly, in Kosovo. This presentation examines the tensions between spectacle that serves historical, political, and moral aims and theatre, which seeks ways of separating memory from ideology.
