Abstract
Our understanding of generic ‘spacelike’ singularities in general relativity and cosmology has deepened considerably by recent results. In this talk, I will discuss a particular aspect of the behaviour of the gravitational field close to a singularity: Its oscillatory nature and the connected probabilistic description.
Series This talk is part of the Geometric Analysis & Partial Differential Equations seminar series.
