Week 0 talk!

Insects are the most diverse and fascinating group of animals on the planet, and are crucial parts of almost every ecosystem on land.But worldwide insect populations are in severe decline, largely due to human activity.

Despite this, insects are often overlooked in conservation practice. Dr. Ed Turner aims to correct this: his talk will introduce insect conservation and some of the results from projects that have been run both in the UK and abroad.
