Vsesvit (The Universe) is the oldest active literary journal in Ukraine, founded by Vasyl’ Blakytnyi, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, and Mykola Khvyl’ovyi in 1925. Cambridge Ukrainian Studies celebrates the journal’s many contributions to world literature and culture with an evening of musical performances and poetry readings in Ukrainian, English, Russian, and various European languages.
